Job Description :

As part of a development team, you will use the latest architectures and technologies in AWS to accelerate the development and adoption of data-driven software capabilities across in service of mission and beyond.

Responsibilities :

Member of a full-stack software development team (Scrum).

Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across

Participate in the development and maintenance of multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilities.

Actively participate in the different Scrum ceremonies as a team member.

Contribute to standards and best practices, and coach and mentor fellow and junior engineers.

Deep dive into your users' problems and partner with product managers to find and create efficient solutions.

Own software services for the supply chain.

Work with the latest AI / machine learning models and integrate with the software stack for the supply chain.

Required Qualifications :

Experience with Java or Python.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on data engineering and backend development.

Experience working on a full-stack software development team in an agile development (Scrum preferred) environment.

At least 3 years of experience in data engineering with relational and non-relational datastores.

Proven ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions to complex problems.

A passion for innovation, learning, and sharing knowledge.

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications :

AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate Certification.

Experience working in public clouds (AWS preferred) with infrastructure-as-code.

Expertise in debugging, profiling, and improving application performance.

Experience in the design and development of cloud-native solutions, microservices, and backend systems.

Experience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies.

Advanced-level SQL and scripting.

Manufacturing and / or Aerospace experience.

Experience with data-intensive applications.
