Job description
A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely evaluation of life insurance applications and support the underwriting team in decision-making
Direct workflow among staff and lead daily meetings to address challenges and maintain efficiency
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance the professional development of Underwriters
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or industry-related equivalent required
Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role preferred
Minimum 10 years of underwriting experience required
Ability to interpret EKGs is required
Fellowship in the Academy of Life Underwriters or completion of CLU courses preferred
