Total compensation for the Industrial Electrician / Testing Technician is between $25-45 per hour.

Industrial Electrician / Testing Technician / Lineman Duties & Responsibilities :
Test Technicians provide preventative maintenance, test services and related electrical services in industrial and utility environments.Test Technicians are responsible to inspect housings, groundings, bushings, tank, oil levels, oil filled bushings, cooling fans, oil pumps, vibrations, air movement, noise levels, anchors, positioning, radiator fins, ground resistors, tap change settings, loads, asset labeling, name plates, ARC and PCB labels, locking and security.Responsible for recording : temperatures, winding and oil temperatures, gauges, pressure / vacuum readings, nitrogen level addition, pressure relief, load tap changer.Perform : cleaning, circuit breaker operations, resistance testing, insulation testing poles, phase to phase, phase to ground, test data compliance and verification, contact pole / resistance test, voltage pick up tests, vacuum bottle integrity, arrestors, serializations, versions-revision control, light emitting functions-displays, analog inputs, relay meter, active discrete inputs, output contacts, and recording and reporting of all findings.Experience working with Medium to High Voltage Equipment : switchgear, motor control centers, generators, circuit breakers, protective relays, ground fault systems, VFD, ATS, and transformers.Industrial Electrician / Testing Technician / Lineman Qualifications :
Prior experience performing electrical testing in industrial setting.Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time.Ability to pass a drug and background test.Clean driving record.Must be safety-oriented and possess ability to review projects for job hazards.Must be professional, responsible, and customer focused.Must have strong trouble shooting ability.Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Must be disciplined, well-organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Preferred but Not Necessary
NETA Level 3, DOBLE or MEGGER Training, Infrared Thermography. (Based on position candidate qualifies for).Mining MSHA, Phosphate Certification and OSHA 30 Certification. (Based on position candidate qualifies for).
