Job Description
About Us : Natixis is a global leader in financial services, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions across Global Markets, Investment Banking, and Portfolio Management. We are seeking a seasoned Vice President-level Senior Loan Review Analyst to join our independent Loan Review function, where you will play a pivotal role in assessing and managing credit risk across various sectors.
Position Overview : This position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of risk across multiple lending sectors and transaction structures while contributing to the continuous evolution of our loan review framework. As part of our Loan Review team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of Natixis' credit risk, ensuring adherence to policies, regulatory guidance, and market best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct systematic reviews of credit portfolios to evaluate performance and the adequacy of risk management practices.
Analyze the quality of credit risk assessments from the Front Office, Workout, and Credit Risk teams.
Review the risk profiles of credit exposures, validate assigned ratings, and recommend necessary adjustments.
Propose and implement improvements to underwriting, portfolio management, and credit approval processes.
Prepare detailed Credit Assessment and Loan Review reports.
Stay informed on developments in assigned sectors and contribute to continuous monitoring activities.
Participate in meetings with Executive Management, Regulators, and collaborate with the Head Office in Paris as needed.
Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow loan review professionals.
Engage in ad hoc projects as required.
Complete a minimum of 40 hours of annual training (seminars, webcasts) to enhance sector-specific and financial knowledge
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of credit experience in Front Office, Credit Risk, or Loan Review, with current experience at the AVP or VP level.
Strong credit knowledge in one or more lending activities : Aviation, Commodities, Energy, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Real Estate, or Securitization. Experience with Latin American credits is a plus.
Proven ability to interact effectively with Front Office and Credit Risk professionals, as well as regulators; prior regulatory experience is a plus but not required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
Knowledge of accounting principles (through coursework or practical experience) is advantageous.
Familiarity with loan documentation fundamentals.
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Knowledge of French is a plus but not required.
The salary range for the VP position will be between $, -$,. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
