Join an established precision manufacturing team in the Worcester area where you’ll produce critical, high-quality components in a modern machining environment. This CNC Milling Machinist position is ideal for someone who can independently program, set up, and operate machining centers while taking ownership of the manufacturing process from start to finish. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Milling Machinist position include:

• At least two years of CNC milling experience; five or more years preferred
• Ability to write or edit programs at the machine control
• Independently set up and operate CNC milling machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
• Select appropriate tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds
• Experience machining with 2-5 axis setups; 3-4 axis experience is fine (5-axis is a plus)
• Familiarity with common CNC controls and the ability to learn new systems
• CAD/CAM software experience is helpful but not required
• Inspect completed work using standard precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary process adjustments
• Work effectively with limited supervision

Salary: $23 - $30 per hour, with flexibility up to $40 per hour or higher for exceptional candidates, commensurate with experience.
