Opal Foods is currently searching for a Processing Plant Manage r for our Hudson Colorado location . The successful candidate will manage the egg processing operations. The position provides direction and supervision to processing team members to achieve quality safety and operational goals. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations and overall processing results for this location.
Responsibities :
- Provide the leadership necessary to obtain the goals set by Corporate Management.
- Continuously lead Safety and bio-security program and initiatives for the processing facility.
- Lead site processing operations in obtaining goals
- Monitor and coach processing team members to make them successful in assigned tasks
- Responsible for timecard review and team member performance management
- Lead biosecurity and safety program other safety matters throughout the Complex. Ensure that all employees are working safely. Manage retraining and implement change with purpose and urgency.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and quality programs
- Oversee processing maintenance activities
- Lead a continuous process improvement initiative. Continuously look for opportunities to make processes more efficient and in alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Review processing reports conduct trend analysis and make decisions to maximize efficiency of processing operation.
- Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures.
- Monitor individual performance of employees and provide guidance where necessary.
