Position Summary The Data/BI Architect owns the end-to-end design of the enterprise data architecture on the Azure Enterprise Data Platform, balancing optimized data access and consumption performance against ingestion cadence, pipeline throughput, and compute/cost utilization within Databricks. Knowledgeable in all aspects of designing and constructing data warehouses and lakehouse-based data, operational data stores, and data marts that enable informational, analytical management inquiry of well-integrated, subject-oriented historical data. Focuses primarily on logical and physical data modeling and database design across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers — source-aligned raw capture, cleansed and conformed dimensional structures, and business-ready certified consumption models — along with metadata definitions, conformed dimensions, and the enterprise metric framework that establishes single-source-of-truth definitions across the organization.Serves as team leader in the integration of solutions, constructing data warehouse applications, developing new business opportunities, and building relationships with clients.
