Responsibilities :
As the Modeling and Simulation Engineer, you will provide specialized engineering expertise supporting the acquisition of multi-intelligence (multi-INT) software services. The engineer is tasked with leading the integration of mission focused tools to foster increased efficiency, automation, and information sharing. You will also assist and advise Government managers responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Ground Enterprise.
- Use and develop cutting-edge mod / sim tools and algorithms to help address some of the most challenging issues regarding automation across the intelligence cycle for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD).
- Strategize with government, SETA, and industry partners to conceptualize and prove out a future ground architecture to drive the customer's new space architecture.
- Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop model / simulation requirements.
- Develop code / scripts to develop algorithms, perform analyses, and automate data processing to model operational scenarios for system evaluation and mission effectiveness.
- Work in a collaborative team environment studying and analyzing a wide variety of interesting and complex problems across multiple intelligence domains.
- Apply Digital Engineering concepts, processes, and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.g., automation, situational awareness, etc.).
- Support and deliver capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information.
- Perform technical review and assessment of concepts, systems, technologies, designs, architectures, interfaces, and operation of space and ground systems.
- Participate in and contribute to technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer.
- Work side-by-side with the other LANDMARK AOS staff comprised of world class System Engineers, Acquisition Engineers, and Domain Experts to lead the customer in acquiring modern processing applications.
