Job Title : Senior Network Administrator

Location : Memphis, Tennessee

Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $110,000 - $120,000 annually

Contractor Work Model : Onsite

Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. some variability required as needed.

System One has partnered with a global organization that is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Network Administrator to lead the network operations in a brand new 800,000 square foot facility in Memphis, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the IT infrastructure from the ground up, stepping into a pivotal role within the organization. As the most senior IT professional in the facility, you will play a crucial part in building out the IT team. Key Responsibilities :

Network Management : Design, implement, and maintain robust networking solutions, including switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems, primarily within a Cisco environment.

System Administration : Administer and optimize servers and storage systems to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

Voice Over IP (VoIP) : Manage and maintain VoIP systems, ensuring high-quality communication solutions for the company's team.

Collaboration : Work closely with the existing helpdesk staff to troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance on IT-related matters.

Project Leadership : Take the lead in planning and executing network upgrades and expansions, as well as the introduction of new technologies.

Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and changes; provide periodic reports on system performance and issues.

Qualifications :

A minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies.

Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing protocols, VoIP, and wireless technologies.

Experience in server and storage administration is highly desirable.

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to network troubleshooting and enhancements.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-technical colleagues.
