Job Duties :
In support of departmental, divisional, and campus enrollment goals, the incumbent coordinates the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (OUA) customer service functions. The Call Center & Outreach Coordinator oversees up to 15 student staff working in the Call Center, manages the OUA general email inbox, and coordinates department outgoing calls and mail. This individual is responsible to ensure an exceptional level of customer service across all student and guest facing interactions across OUA. Providing outstanding service is a key element in OUA's goal of using every touchpoint as an opportunity to build a trusting and caring relationship through recruitment. The position reports to the Assistant Director for Visit Programs and serves as a fully engaged member of OUA.
This position is in Salary Grade 21, with an anticipated pay range of $48,000-$55,000. Salary will be determined by the finalist's experience, education, training, internal / external pay equity, and other factors. This position also includes a generous benefits package including retirement, paid holidays and vacation days.
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Provides operational and strategic guidance to all unit staff
- Identifies, develops, and facilitates staff training opportunities
- Directs and audits customer services and / or retail program operations to ensure customer service objectives are met
- May create and monitor the unit operating budget and approve expenditures
- Implements operational procedures, methods, and policies to achieve established goals, meet compliance requirements, and ensure effective service
- Develops and schedules unit operational work plans
