Position Summary Information
Summary Patrols campus parking lots to enforce parking regulations and issue parking citations.
Provides a customer service presence at University properties to offer information, directions, and guidance on University resources. May be assigned to day shift or swing shift, Monday – Friday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Patrols campus parking lots on foot and in vehicles, issuing citations for parking violations.
2. Assists in traffic and parking control, as assigned.
3. Provides a customer service presence and information regarding University resources, by foot and / or vehicle at assigned University areas.
4. Reports violations of University policies, local, state, and federal laws, or other hazards to Safety
Services dispatch and helps coordinate the response of Safety Services Officers.
5. Provides traffic direction at University pedestrian crosswalks.
6. Provides staffing for Welcome Pavilions as needed.
7. Provides safety escorts for students by foot and / or vehicle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard or other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and stand and / or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
