The city of North Kansas City overwhelmingly supports its Police Department with an authorized force of one police officer for every 125 residents (approximately). North Kansas City is situated within Clay County, MO, which takes holding criminals accountable for their actions very seriously. Police Officer Salary $52,000 to $86,140

If you are not currently P.O.S.T. certified, the city will pay for the Police Academy tuition while paying you $23.75 per hour, $49,400 annually.

Qualifications :

  • Must Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must Possess or Be Able to Obtain a Valid Missouri Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment
