ActalentSpokane, WA, United StatesJob Title : Process EngineerJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Process Engineer to work on challenging projects in various industries including mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing. The role involves working in a collegial and supportive multi-disciplined team-based environment on projects from initial planning stages through design, construction, and startup operations. You will be responsible for the delivery of industrial engineering design and construction across multiple states including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.Responsibilities+ Perform industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations.+ Conduct bench and pilot testing.+ Provide engineering services during construction of projects.+ Engage in project development oversight and project management, including scope, schedule, fee preparation, negotiation, project staffing, and coordination of activities related to planning, design, and construction.Essential Skills+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or other related field.+ 5+ years of engineering experience in planning, engineering, design, construction, and commissioning.+ Experience with industrial water, industrial wastewater, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, water / mass balances, or process design.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain EIT within one year of employment, or Professional Engineer license is preferred.+ Experience with computer-aided drafting (CAD) and design in similar applications (BlueBeam) is preferred.Work EnvironmentThis role utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work. It will also involve spending time at client locations.
