Restaurant365’s culture is focused on empowering team members to produce top-notch results while elevating their skills. We’re constantly evolving and improving to make sure we are and always will be “Best in Class” ... and we want that for you too!

The Senior People Operations Program Coordinator is a key contributor to delivering a seamless employee experience and driving operational excellence across People Operations. Reporting to the Director, People Technology & Operations, this role coordinates and helps manage People Ops programs and projects, with a strong focus on Workday and our HR ticketing system.

This Sr. Coordinator provides strong Workday expertise, manages employee lifecycle processes, and partners closely with cross‑functional teams to optimize workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance compliance. The ideal candidate brings solid HR operations experience, operates independently within their scope, and proactively identifies and implements process improvements that scale with the business.

How you'll add value:

Workday & HR Operations

  • Serve as a go-to resource with strong working knowledge of Workday employee lifecycle transactions (hires, promotions, transfers, terminations), ensuring accurate data and clear understanding of downstream impacts.
  • Coordinate and execute Workday testing for configuration updates, partnering with People Tech and stakeholders to validate changes and protect data integrity.
  • Maintain high‑quality employee data through regular audits, issue resolution, and partnership with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT.

People Operations Programs & Projects

  • Coordinate People Ops programs and projects, operating independently within scope and escalating when needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying issues, proposing ideas, and helping implement changes to increase automation, reduce manual work, and improve the employee and manager experience.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits of employee data to maintain accuracy and compliance; proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies

Employee Support & Collaboration

  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries through the HR ticketing system, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer‑centered support.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, and IT to align on HR processes, policies, and handoffs.
  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base content that enables consistency and scalability across the People team.

Compliance & Sensitive Work

  • Support HR compliance by processing I‑9s, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation documentation, and other required tasks with accuracy and discretion.
  • Handle PII and sensitive data, including compensation‑related changes, offers, and severance agreements, in line with company and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • Experience: 2–5 years of relevant HR/People Ops experience; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Workday skills and experience with ticketing systems; comfort working with HR data, reports, and audits.
  • Operations & Scope: Demonstrated ability to own daily work and specific tasks with increasing judgment, handle routine escalations, and lead small initiatives or programs.
  • Compliance Knowledge:Solid working knowledge of HR compliance practices, including I-9 verification, auditing best practices, and adherence to regional labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Clear, concise communication with employees and cross‑functional partners.
  • Proven problem‑solving mindset, identifying friction points and helping simplify processes across teams.
  • Openness to feedback and continuous improvement; actively seeks growth and adapts in a changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using ticketing systems to manage and track HR-related inquiries.
  • Familiarity with testing HR system updates and implementing process changes.
  • Experience handling unemployment claims, workers’ compensation cases, or similar regulatory processes.
