Job Description
- Strong proficiency in core Python (OOP, data structures, error handling, concurrency) and standard libraries.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication / authorization, and integration with third-party services.
- Participate in solution design and architecture discussions, translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; implement unit / integration tests and contribute to CI / CD pipelines.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure reliability, security, and observability.
- Work closely with product, QA, frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle) and good knowledge of SQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, code review practices, and agile development methods.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI / CD pipelines; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred.
- Good understanding of application security, performance tuning, and monitoring / logging tools.
