Job descriptionDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our software applications. Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements review, design discussions, development, testing, release, and post-deployment validation. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various testing frameworks. Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the development process. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies. Perform root cause analysis of software defects and provide detailed reports. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (preferred but not required) Proficiency in JavaScript and Python Experience with C or C# and / or exposure to Windows application development (preferred but not required) Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, AZURE, GCP, etc... Experience working with React applications Comfortable working in a Linux environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset Ability to communicate clearly and work cross-functionally This is a full-time, in-office position | Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM Ability to lift 15 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer. At Spot Zero Water, we are revolutionizing water purification with innovative solutions that provide clean, high-quality water for a variety of applications. We are looking for an individual with a passion for quality assurance and a strong background in software development to help us maintain and enhance our cutting-edge systems.
- This is a fully ONSITE position in Fort Lauderdale, FL. (Must reside in Florida- preferably already local to the Miami-Broward-Palm Beach county area)
- Remote or hybrid are not an option.
- No C2C. Must have full authorization to work in the United States.
