Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for reviewing facility and property condition assessments. The role involves reformatting documents in Microsoft Word, integrating data into Microsoft Excel, and ensuring accuracy in grammar and spelling. The position requires cross-checking data to ensure consistency across documents and handling over 40 documents monthly.

Responsibilities

Review facility and property condition assessments.

Reformat documents in Microsoft Word and incorporate data into Microsoft Excel.

Ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, and data consistency across documents.

Manage and review over 40 documents monthly.

Essential Skills

2 or more years of experience with word processing.

Experience in document control and large-document writing / editing, preferably within construction / facilities space.

Bachelor's degree.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication skills and comfort with using a computer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred knowledge of building systems, including architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to perform under pressure and adjust to changing priorities.

Ability to meet hard deadlines and reliability.

Strong process and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.

Work Environment

You will be part of a collaborative team in a pit setting alongside other team members, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role supports a large, ongoing Facility Assessment project, providing exposure to many top professionals and opportunities for growth.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Alexandria, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00 / hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
