Job description

Sanctuary Recovery Centers is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our growing team! If you're enthusiastic about helping individuals on their journey to recovery and want to make a meaningful impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Licensed Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting individuals facing substance abuse, trauma, post-incarceration syndrome, and co-occurring behavioral health challenges. You'll work in a collaborative environment, alongside a team of behavioral health specialists, case managers, and under the guidance of our Clinical Director. This is your chance to use your expertise to provide individualized therapy, lead engaging group sessions, and contribute to a culture of healing and hope.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Develop and adjust treatment strategies based on individual progress and goals.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions following a structured curriculum.
  • One-on-one counseling sessions to track progress and adjust care as needed.
  • Collaborate with the case management and treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Utilize clinical techniques like motivational interviewing, CBT, and other modalities to guide clients toward recovery.
  • Provide support for clients with substance abuse and mental health issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and therapeutic interventions.
  • Work closely with clients to help them set and achieve their personal recovery goals.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they are on track for success.
  • Promote positive coping techniques, self-reflection, and healthy interpersonal relationships.
  • Provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for all clients.

Why Sanctuary Recovery Centers?

  • Impactful Work: Be part of a dedicated team helping individuals overcome significant life challenges and achieve lasting recovery.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values open communication and joint problem-solving.
  • Growth Opportunities: We support professional growth and offer opportunities for you to expand your skills and experience within the field of behavioral health.
  • Client-Centered Approach: Use your passion for therapy to create meaningful change and develop life-long skills for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that therapy addresses both emotional and behavioral needs, promoting sustainable change.
  • Write and maintain thorough documentation, including medical and referral notes.
  • Assist clients in identifying personal goals and building recovery plans with the necessary support and resources.
  • Observe and report on any significant behavioral changes to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and engagement in the recovery process.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, ensuring that all treatment decisions are made collaboratively.
  • Stay updated on current therapy practices, continuously improving your methods and approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in Behavioral Health required.
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Arizona license as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LASAC, or LAC or LMSW
  • Skills: Proficient in KIPU and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a clinical counseling role, with a strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Attributes: Empathetic, culturally competent, and driven to foster healing in a diverse community. Must be flexible and willing to adapt to evolving client and organizational needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • A compassionate professional with a strong commitment to helping others.
  • A licensed therapist who is confident in their ability to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality treatment.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • A skilled communicator who can build rapport and engage clients in meaningful, productive conversations.
  • A motivated individual eager to contribute to a mission-focused organization that is making a tangible difference in people's lives.

Join us at Sanctuary Recovery Centers and be a part of something bigger. Help us continue to provide life-changing care to those in need and grow your career in a supportive, dynamic environment. Apply today and become a part of our journey to recovery!
