Job description

Salary: $110,000 - 120,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • We require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • We require availability to work a hybrid schedule from our Houston, TX office and travel to branch locations as needed.
  • We are looking for 4–5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development experience, including AL extensions and customizations.
  • We need proficiency with Visual Studio Code, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.
  • We expect strong knowledge of Business Central functional areas, including sales, purchasing, assembly orders, and purchase orders.
  • We value a solid understanding of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
  • We want demonstrated ability to gather requirements, draft technical specifications, and deliver solutions independently.
  • We seek strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
  • We need excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with both technical teams and business users.
  • Experience with equipment rentals in Business Central is a plus.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • We design, develop, and maintain AL extensions, customizations, and integrations within Business Central.
  • We write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, data analysis, and system troubleshooting.
  • We manage source control, deployments, and release activities through Azure DevOps.
  • We build and support integrations between Business Central and third-party systems.
  • We monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
  • We stay current on Business Central platform updates, wave releases, and Microsofts roadmap.
  • We provide expert end-user support for Business Central, including troubleshooting and ticket resolution.
  • We gather and document business requirements and convert them into technical specifications and development tasks.
  • We support sales, purchasing, assembly orders, and purchase order workflows in Business Central.
  • We assist with rental processes and provide end-user support for the rentals module as needed.
  • We conduct training sessions and create user documentation to improve adoption and proficiency.
  • We travel on-site as needed to provide hands-on support, training, and stakeholder engagement across branch locations.
  • We collaborate with cross-functional teams and our Director of ERP to align system capabilities with business needs.
