Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity supports K-12 students within a school district in Lenexa, KS. The position offers a contract through the current school year with a focus on providing essential speech and language services to students who have been underserved or missed out on intervention.
Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload across multiple campuses within the district. The clinician will serve in an itinerant role, traveling between several schools to ensure all students receive timely, high-quality speech and language support. Caseloads typically include students requiring evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring aligned with educational goals.
Qualified candidates should possess :
- Appropriate licensure or certification as an SLP, SLPA, or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) if applicable
- Experience working in K-12 school settings providing speech and language services
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload traveling between campuses while maintaining organization and detailed documentation
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week position starting ASAP and continuing through May 22, 2026. The role provides an opportunity to support multiple schools in meeting student speech and language needs.
