Job Details
Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Create and develop documents for new and existing products from engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, control settings, machining methods, and operational sequences.
- Design, create, and implement new CNC Programs to include improvements in tooling, machine processes, new tool platforms, and capable fixturing.
- Develops sustainable and standardized machining processes to exceed the company’s expectations in cost, quality improvement, and delivery to clients.
- Support and collaborate with the shop to ensure quality programs and parts are being run by monitoring first articles of new programs, assisting with setups, tooling information, and trouble shoots issues.
- Continuously research new machining methodologies and tooling to help improve our processes.
- Must develop machining practices that increase safety throughout, while reducing setup rates and non-conformances.
- Create G-Code programs for efficiently manufacturing parts using GibbsCam software and NX CAM software
- Will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processing order to exceed all goals set forth by the client company (safety, delivery, quality, etc.)
- Maintain a safe work environment and follow company policies

Educational Requirements :
Either a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with 1+ year experience OR 5+ years related experience
