Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SQL Developer with strong expertise in T-SQL and Microsoft Azure to design, build, and optimize complex database solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data systems that support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers
Build, manage, and support Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory pipelines
Optimize query performance through indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and schema design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable data solutions
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all database environments
Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews to maintain engineering best practices and standards

Required Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on experience in T-SQL development within enterprise environments
Strong proficiency with Azure services, including:
- Azure SQL
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Blob Storage
Deep understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling
Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills

Experience working in large-scale enterprise data environments
Ability to support end-to-end database design, development, and optimization efforts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
