Job descriptionPrepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses Perform and oversee tax planning and projections Conduct tax research and draft resolutions and correspondence Ensure timely, accurate filing of federal, state, and local returns Maintain high quality standards and compliance practices Support special tax projects and internal firm initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and clients Manage client information and communication Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA or Enrolled Agent (or actively pursuing) Minimum 8 years of experience in public accounting with tax focus Proficiency in UltraTax, QuickBooks, and other accounting software Knowledge of federal / state tax laws and GAAP Excellent research and analytical skills Strong attention to detail, organizational and planning abilities Effective communicator with proven ability to collaborate across teams
