The HR Strategy Manager is consultant to leaders, including senior management, for HR-related needs and issues. The Manager provides oversight and direction for a team of HRBPs to execute Human Resources and business strategies. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating such needs proactively with the HR department and management. Through the building of partnerships, receives support on workforce issues impacting strategic and business objectives, leads HR initiatives and employee relations issues. Provides coaching to leaders regarding their own or their department's future development plans and actions. May require travel to facilities within the system.
Reports to the Director HR Strategy
Leverage the IH change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
Oversees the reporting on HR Strategy metrics and completes all required reporting and analysis
Provides the team appropriate training, tools, direction and motivation to satisfy the needs of our customers. Provides supervision including hiring, evaluating performance / competency and conducting disciplinary counseling
Manages special projects, as assigned
Partners with Talent Acquisition with ongoing recruiting efforts
Serves as resource in implementation and interpretation of HR regulations, practices, and policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the HRIS and talent management systems.
Proficient knowledge of employment law and regulations, including federal and state EEO / AA practices and regulations, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
