Position OverviewWe are hiring Production Operators for a growing plastics manufacturer that produces high-quality products for the medical and defense industries.This is a great opportunity for dependable candidates looking to build long-term manufacturing experience in a professional production environment. Production Operators will work as part of a team manufacturing, inspecting, assembling, and packaging plastic components while following established production and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift.
Available Shifts1st Shift: Monday–Saturday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM
Pay: $18.00–$25.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule and days worked may vary based on production needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to company procedures.
- Assist with the manufacturing of plastic components and products.
- Load, unload, and handle materials used in the production process.
- Assemble and package finished products.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and documentation as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Identify and report quality issues or equipment problems to supervisors.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, plastics, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred but may not be required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive movements.
