A confidential, well-established oil & gas law firm is seeking an Oil & Gas Production Title Opinion Attorney to join its practice on a fully remote basis. The firm maintains a national footprint with attorneys working remotely across the United States and supports flexible schedules, reasonable billable expectations, and strong earning potential tied to performance.
The practice focuses on oil & gas production matters for sophisticated E&P clients, primarily in the Permian and Bakken basins. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, low-overhead environment where attorneys are trusted to deliver high-quality, near-final work product with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and analyze oil & gas production title opinions
Review title documents, leases, curative instruments, and related materials
Prepare high-quality work product suitable for partner review with minimal revisions
Collaborate with partners and team members on production and transactional matters
Manage matters independently once onboarded
Experience & Qualifications
1+ years of oil & gas experience, with significant exposure to production title opinions
Ability to work independently and deliver polished, near-final work product
Strong understanding of oil & gas title and production matters
Big Law or reputable oil & gas boutique experience preferred
Active license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Competitive and tailored to experience and agreed-upon billable goals (DOE)

Additional Earning Opportunities
Client Development Credit: Attorneys who introduce new client relationships may participate in a revenue-sharing program based on collected fees
Matter Management Compensation: Attorneys managing client matters may receive additional hourly compensation for time billed under their supervision
