Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our successful clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals. Daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, prescribing medications, and spaying/neutering. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine examinations
  • Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment
  • Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Perform spay and neuter surgeries
  • Prescribe medication
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
  • Update client records

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Availability to take evening, weekend, or on-call shifts when necessary
  • Patience and a love for animals
