JOB TITLE: Engineering Design Checker
LOCATION: Andover, MA
PAY RATE: $70.96/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Security Clearance: Interim Secret Required Prior to Start

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Responsible for examining engineering drawings and related documentation to ensure soundness, efficiency, and simplicity of design.

• Reviews for completeness, clarity, dimensional accuracy, material and process correctness, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications.

• Evaluates designs for manufacturability, assembly feasibility, installation practicality, and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Active Interim Secret clearance required at time of submittal

• Experience with:

  • Electronics

  • Machined components

  • Test equipment

  • Cable assemblies

  • Circuit cards

• Experience working with military and aerospace specifications

• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

• Experience using CREO and Windchill

• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
