MIG Welder
We are hiring experienced MIG Welders to weld sheet metal products, including bus ramps and other transportation-related equipment.
Pay
Starting at $23 per hour
Shift Options
Day Shift:
Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Swing Shift:
Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Requirements
At least 1 year of MIG welding experience
MIG welding certification required
Must be able to pass a fillet weld test
Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings
Responsibilities
Perform consistent, high-quality hand welds
Identify acceptable welds and maintain quality standards
Load weld fixtures and complete hand welds accurately
Set up fixtures and welding machines (with supervision)
Operate equipment such as:
Overhead crane
Forklift
Hydraulic press
Follow directions from the Foreman
Identify and report process or equipment issues
Understand and operate machine controls needed for assigned tasks23
