Job Summary
- The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including compliance, safety, efficiency, customer service, and profitability. This leadership role drives business growth through strategic sales management and client relationship development while ensuring the effective recruitment, training, and performance management of branch staff. The Branch Manager plays a crucial role in creating a high-performing, professional, and safe work environment that aligns with company values and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Branch Operations
Supervise and support daily branch operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and proceduresOversee the delivery of operational services and supervise teams to ensure consistent, high-quality performanceMaintain branch facilities, physical assets, and equipment to provide a professional, safe, and organized working environmentEnsure proper usage, maintenance, and accountability of tools and resourcesSales & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet or exceed annual growth targetsManage and support the sales team to maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipelineParticipate in local marketing efforts, community events, and networking opportunities to expand brand visibility, attract new clients, and retain existing customersCustomer Service & Relationship Management
Supervise teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and a superior customer experienceRespond to customer concerns / complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction and retentionBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partnersMonitor client feedback and implement service improvements to drive retention and meet customer expectationsFinancial & Performance Management
Manage branch Profit & Loss (P&L), including revenue generation, expense control, and financial forecastingEnsure timely billing and collections to support cash flow and financial healthIdentify opportunities to increase revenue through cross-selling, ancillary services, or new service offeringsTrack performance against KPIs and implement improvements to maximize branch profitabilityEnvironment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Ensure strict adherence to company Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and proceduresMonitor safety performance and proactively implement strategies to reduce risks and prevent incidentsPromote a culture of safety and accountability across all branch operationsTeam Leadership & Development
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop branch staff to ensure service excellence and operational effectivenessSet clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance check-ins, coaching, and corrective actionsFoster a positive branch culture emphasizing engagement, accountability, teamwork, and professional growthBuild overall branch capabilities to support sustainable long-term successEducation and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, or equivalent combination of landscape maintenance / construction industry experience and education3-5 years of management experience, preferably in landscaping, operations, or a service-based industryDemonstrated ability to manage P&L and understand financial reportsStrong knowledge of safety standards and operational compliance practicesProven leadership skills with experience in team development, motivation, and performance managementResults-driven leader who motivates teams and builds strong customer relationshipsAdaptive and proactive in managing change and solving complex operational issuesExcellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant business softwarePhysical Demands / Requirements :
Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers / copiersAbility to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneelingWork Environment :

Compensation Pay Range :
$85-$135k
BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
