What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served that assist the members to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals.

Peer Recovery Coaches provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member's point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming.

Additionally, Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health / addiction challenge.

Regional Float Pool employees work assigned shifts in multiple program types with unique licensing requirements, settings, and populations and is required to adapt quickly and work effectively with multiple staff teams and staff functions and roles.

This requires individuals to adapt to various documentation requirements and platforms.

Your role will cover Telecare's program needs throughout Riverside County and San Bernardino County.

Schedule : On Call; Shift Hours and Days vary as needed

Telecare proudly participates in wage transparency. Staffing Float Pool full wage range is $18.24 - $25.72. We anticipate the estimated starting rate will be $18.24 - $22.00 per hour.

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.

Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High School Diploma or GED required
• One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
• Utilizing your own lived mental health or substance use recovery story to help empower others on their recovery journey
• Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
• Must be willing to work at any assigned shift at any program in designated region
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
