MEI has a job opportunity to design & draft electrical engineering construction plans for data centers and other high-profile commercial construction projects.

Prior experience with electrical drafting work is preferred but will also consider mechanical, plumbing, structural or architectural backgrounds.

Job Duties

• Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documents.
• Perform drafting work under the direction of project managers and engineers.
• Ensure jobs are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Create and maintain company AutoCAD standards and details.

Qualifications

• Work experience as an electrical designer / drafter; minimum four (4) years preferred
• Ability to work in a team environment with Project Managers, Engineers and Designers.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be motivated by deadlines, and possess the ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, especially excel.
• Revit experience a plus.
• Communication skills both written and verbal are required.
• Knowledge of the principles within engineering and construction field preferred.
