Functions as a graduate research associate and performs a variety of duties according to the nature of the research project in which they participate.
The duties of the GRA are performed under the direction and supervision of a faculty member and may include but are not limited to : conducting experiments, data entry into spreadsheets / databases, organizing or analyzing statistical data, literature searches, preparing publications, presenting findings at local or national meetings, overseeing the work of undergraduate student assistants, and other research activities as specified by the faculty member or research staff and the source of funding for the position.
Requires successful completion of a university background check.

The candidate should have veterinary or animal science background and should have research experience in virology, microbiology, infectious diseases, biochemistry, veterinary and animal sciences or other relatedfields
