Admissions Rep / Data Entry

Requisition ID req20701 Working Title Admissions Rep / Data Entry Position Grade 06 Position Summary The Admissions Representative / Data Entry position will provide critical support to the College of Education's Center for Student Success in its work completing undergraduate admissions processes.

This position will follow established parameters and protocols to review, verify, and assess applications and support documents in accordance with college and program guidelines.

  • The position will be responsible to take necessary steps to follow-up on missing or deficient information; relay and discuss status of applications;
  • review applications and transcripts with respect to current eligibility of applicants, applications, transcripts, records and evaluations;
  • and, initiate, code, review and process applications. Additionally, the position will create and maintain manual and computerized records;

establish and maintain logs, filing, and record keeping systems and ensure that all records are complete, accurate and up-to-date.

Conditions of Employment

  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Tk20.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with academic Programs of Study.
  • Experience or familiarity with LoboWeb.
  • Intermediate skills with Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Experience or familiarity with Constant Contact.
