Our Finance team is seeking a Accounting Coordinator to assist with processing, reporting, and research. This position is open to hybrid candidates near LIBERTY's office location in

Tustin, CA .

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for processing of health care cost reporting and a variety of research tasks along with cash disbursements for multiple entities.

Other responsibilities include :

  • Primary responsibility to void and reissue uncashed checks
  • Assist on Audit selections and backup preparation as needed
  • Applying checks to accounts; responsible for provider refund check application and refund request letters; HSP to SAGE verification of posting (reconciliation), and refunds to providers per excess in payment balance
  • Assist on 1099 annual reporting and Tax ID verification

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

  • Minimum High School or GED required
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Payable (A / P) preferred or education in related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in processing dental or healthcare claims preferred
  • LOCATION

    This position is open to candidates near LIBERTY's office location in Irvine, CA. Our employees are distributed in office locations in multiple markets across the United States. We are unable to hire or allow employees to work outside of the United States.

  • COMPENSATION

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $20.00 - $25.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at LIBERTY, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and / or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
