GENERAL
- Support Manager of Visual Merchandising in implementing brand strategies in collaboration with the US Retail, Wholesale, Store Development, Merchandising, and Marketing teams.
- Responsible for planning, developing and implementing the US Visual Merchandising directives within North America in line with brand image and Global VM standards
- Weekly visits to West Coast region stores including Wholesale locations to ensure VM standards are implemented and upkept.
IN-STORE VISUAL MERCHANDISING
Execute Visual Merchandising changes for West Coast Region. Partner with Store Managers and Regional Directors to ensure Visual Merchandising guidelines and deadlines are met.Follow up on VM Planograms and compile as directed by Manager of Visual MerchandisingEnsure maintenance of all Stores and follow up on outstanding repair & maintenance issues to ensure optimal brand integrityCompile and review weekly photos to ensure stores are consistent with the visual standards and provide feedback as neededAdapt Global Visual direction based on Regional and Store needs and inventoryManage implementation of seasonal windows and in-store visuals. Working closely with vendors on productionCoordinate and ensure proper follow-through for all window installations; liaising with local contractors within the directive, timeline, and budgetProvide visual standards and guideline presentation training to each store each season, and for new hires as neededMERCHANDISING PLANNING
Work closely with the Retail Merchandising team to ensure that VM supports the commercial goals of the business and that brand standards are upheldPartner with the Retail team to seek creative solutions to merchandising issues that arise while maintaining brand imageIdentify local VM opportunities to support specific regional needs via compelling displaysSupport New Store Openings and Renovations to ensure product needs are delivered to align with VM timelines.EVENTS, SPECIAL PROJECTS & SHOWROOM
Support execution of setup for any West Coast Regional projectsProvide VM support, direction, and monitoring of all retail shopping / consumer events (in-store / off-site)Set up visual presentation of the seasonal Press Events display (showroom or off-site)Set up visual presentation of the seasonal Wholesale Commercial showroomTRAVEL
Monthly travel required to West Coast / Central region, and as needed to other North American stores including Canada and MexicoYou'll Need to Have :
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Design, or equivalent work experience.2+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising in a fashion retail environment.Strong ability to adapt & work well in a fast-paced environment and fluctuating deadlines; prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects.Excellent taste level in speaking to many facets including merchandising, styling, fixture design, store layout and directives.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interface with domestic and international teams; occasional travel within the US and abroad.Jimmy Choo Perks :
