This Opportunity:
The Manager, HR will be responsible for many aspects of day-to-day HR operations such as benefits management, report creation, new hire onboarding and offboarding, employee inquiries, HR compliance, and provide backup for the creation and maintenance of employee records using our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). A high level of professional maturity, confidentiality and interpersonal communication with employees, leaders, and external stakeholders is essential for success.
Location and Compensation:
The position is based in Palladium’s Arlington, VA office. This will be a .6 full-time equivalent (FTE) salaried position (about 24 hours per week).
For our prospective employees in the United States, please note that the .6 time annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $51, to $69,, and successful candidates may also be eligible for additional, variable incentive compensation dependent on the role.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
The Manager, Human Resources is a seasoned generalist with full HR lifecycle experience. Key activities include:
- Reviews, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
- Assists with new-hire orientations
- Performs quality checks of benefits-related data
- Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
- Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
- Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes
- Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
- Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA
Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities - Responds to (k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment
- Assists with the open enrollment process
- Administers the tuition reimbursement program
- Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- At least five years of human resource management experience
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
