IT Support Associate, Events (2 Positions - Lincoln, NE)
Description of Work
Under the direction of senior events staff provides support for University Academic, Athletic, and internal and external Facility Rental events in designated areas of responsibility, which may include customer support, AV / IT support, videoconferencing, sound system, meeting support and production.
This person will be required to work nights and weekends as dictated by the events schedule on a regular basis.
This position will uphold the ITS core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive to succeed, a passion for higher learning, and acting with integrity.

LI-DNI Minimum Required Qualifications Required Qualifications Two years of post-secondary educationOne year of experience supporting IT and AV technologies in a professional or University settingThorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows and / or Apple MacOS operating systems, softwareapplication administration and hardwareExperience with direct customer supportEquivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with space management softwareExperience with technology research and development and procurementExperience with managing vendor interactionsExperience and understanding of managing and operating audio / video equipmentUnderstanding of software related for athletics events such as scoring software platforms (such as Stat Crew, Genius Sports, Colorado Timing, Hy-Tek Meet Manager, Gymnastics Scorekeeper)Experience with athletics video and analysis platforms (such as Playsight, XOS, Hudl, Sportscode, Right View Pro, BATS, Volleymetrics)
