Position : Full-Time Online Special Education Teacher in Massachusetts
Overview : We're actively seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time remote positions in Massachusetts, and surrounding areas.
As an Online Special Education Teacher, you'll provide comprehensive special education services to students, ensuring adherence to local and state requirements.
Requirements :
- Masters degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
- State certification or eligibility for certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Preferred : Previous experience in special education settings.
- Deep understanding of local and state regulations governing special education services.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs via online platforms.
- Provide direct instruction to students in accordance with IEP goals and objectives, utilizing virtual teaching tools.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive online learning environments.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet individualized needs.
- Utilize assistive technology and specialized materials to support student learning in an online setting.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and participation using virtual documentation systems.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities as required.
