Program Planner
Insight Global is seeking a Program Planner to join an aerospace aviation company located in East Hartford, CT. This role requires US Citizenship and onsite work 5 days a week as the candidate will directly support Military programs.
The Program Planner will join the Program Planning & Scheduling (PP&S) organization and work with key program stakeholders to promote the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as a healthy, integrated management tool.
Day to day, they will be responsible for communicating cross functionally with multiple program office stakeholders, cost account managers and partners to ensure quality inputs and baseline integrity.
The ideal candidate will also maintain schedule health, making sure that the schedule is vertically and horizontally linked to perform program critical path assessments with limited oversight.
Lastly, they will develop working schedules for estimating by preparing proposal and preliminary schedules.
as required and integrating changes into existing schedules.

- Background working in government / DOD, aerospace, oil / gas or utilities industries
- Demonstrated understanding of earned value management principles and their application to complex projects
- Experience working on schedules that require baseline change control and monthly IMS reporting
- 3-5 years of experience as a program planner / scheduler
- Must be a US Citizen
- Security clearance is preferred
- Experience using logic driven scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project or Open Plan
- Experience analyzing schedules for quality in their construction and ability to produce valid critical paths
- Knowledge in the application of integrated cost / schedule techniques on programs
- Must be proficient in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)
