We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team of legal professionals. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong understanding of legal procedures, court systems, and e-filing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned legal assistant who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

As a Senior Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for :

1. Assisting attorneys in the preparation, filing, and management of various legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery.

2. Utilizing e-filing systems to electronically file documents with the court and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all filings.

3. Conducting legal research and analysis to assist attorneys in case preparation.

4. Coordinating and scheduling court dates, meetings, depositions, and conference calls.

5. Maintaining and organizing legal files and case management systems.

6. Interacting with clients, court personnel, and other professionals in a professional and courteous manner.

7. Assisting in the preparation of trial exhibits and materials.

8. Providing general administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence, managing calendars, and handling travel arrangements.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Senior Legal Assistant position, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. 5-8 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm.

2. Proven expertise with e-filing procedures in Federal courts, State courts, and appellate courts

3. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court systems.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

6. High level of organization and attention to detail.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

8. Knowledge of medical terminology (highly preferred)

9. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
