Total Safety is looking for an Instrumentation Technician to join their safety conscious team. The Instrumentation Technician tests all newly installed fire alarms and sometimes performs regular inspections to ensure that systems and equipment continue to work according to their specifications. They must test all basic alarm panel functions to make sure that every offered feature is functional. This part of their job requires proficiency in the use of test equipment such as multi-meters and digital analyzers.

Working Environment :
Shop, indoor and outdoor industrial environments. May be frequently exposed to cold, hot, wet, humid, outside weather conditions and vibration. Works in customer environment. May be exposed to high pressure, chemicals, and traffic. The noise level in work environment is usually moderate.
High School diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry. Associate degree in science or technical area strongly preferred.
