Job description

Process Improvement Analyst

This is a hybrid position. Must live a commutable distance to Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.

  • This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to build and complete accurate documentation reflecting organizational processes.
  • Develop process documentation through workflows, procedural, policy, or other formats.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings to understand new processes and investigate potential enhancements for existing processes for greater efficiency.
  • Develop of change management plans to improve day-to-day operations, growth, or new solutions.
  • Assist leadership with oversight of initiatives key to new processes or program enhancements to ensure all activities are completed on time and meet objectives.
  • Coordinate and have oversight of user acceptance testing for projects.
  • Research elements related to various ongoing projects.
  • Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in relevant field required.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience within a government agency.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security checks (Public Trust clearance).
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Strong abilities in both business writing and documenting processes and practices; can verbally communicate to effectively translate systems requirements and business analyses.
  • Demonstrated excellence in time and project management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, organization, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate with different levels of staff and management.
