Dog Walker
The Big City Woof Walker Dani Pedraza (CCDT) and Maren Lavelle have owned and operated Big City Woof Walkers since 2017. The owners started their work together locally as dog walkers in 2013.
Because of their shared origins, Dani and Maren have a unique insight into the dog walking industry. They have placed a strong emphasis on safe walks while providing excellent care.
We assign primary walkers to clients; we only offer private and small group walks, and all walkers benefit from our onboarding program.
Big City Woof Walkers also provides industry-leading compensation for their growing dog-walking team. The position : Professional dog walker with the ability to also care for cats in the Lakeview - Lincoln Park neighborhoods.
Most work is scheduled Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. We also have additional earning opportunities available on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
We service the South Loop, West Loop, River North, and North Side neighborhoods. Compensation : $16.50 - $20 / hour $1600 - $2000 / month 100% Client gratuity Candidate referral bonuses and Client referral bonuses $100 sign-on bonus after you complete the orientation process and begin services Additional bonuses at one year ($100) The responsibilities : Create a safe and positive walking environment for our client's dogs Follow the client-provided care instructions, including training preferences Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats Give our clients first-class customer service with a personal touch Communicate with clients / staff / management with your smartphone (Slack, Time to Pet, text, and photographs) Contribute to the team effort by working as a team player Practice time management to ensure on-time arrivals for all assigned visits Please check us out on Instagram!
