Job Description
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to manage and ensure the accuracy of end-to-end time capture and reconciliation of timecards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement end-to-end Time capture process, including regulatory and union work rules, audit, time transfer, reporting, and filings
- Review and reconcile timecards before weekly and bi-weekly pay runs
- Prepare and review weekly timekeeping / payroll reports, including data entry and associated reporting
- Retain time and attendance records for historical questions and audits
- Prepare and audit time records for daily off-cycle checks
- Maintain and test systems during enhancements, upgrades, or new work rules
- Research and resolve complex payroll inquiries from project teams, business services, or team members
- Liaison for Payroll team with project teams, ensuring correct recording of worked hours
QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay range for this role is $27.93 - $37.69. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
