Join Our Team as a Surgical Sterilization Technician at VESH! Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) nestled in vibrant West Springfield, MA, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Sterilization Technician to join our esteemed surgery team.

About the role : This individual works alongside our surgery team, cleaning, wrapping and sterilizing surgical instruments.

They will lay out surgical packs and clean up the surgery suite after a procedure along with the other responsibilities listed below : Assist surgery set up : set up surgery suite, prepare and sterilize surgical packs, set out supplies as needed for procedure.

Must be familiar with surgical instruments. Responsible for maintaining clean surgery suite and for ensuring adequate stock of packs.

Assist with surgery clean up : retrieve used instruments from surgery suites, pick up and dispose of used supplies, clean and wipe down all surfaces following sanitation protocols Responsible for managing surgery inventory, tracking supplies and reordering as needed;

stocking exam room and surgery room on a regular basis, ensuring all items are available when needed. Responsible for sterilizing surgical instruments and scopes Maintain equipment on daily, weekly and monthly basis Clean clinical area and instruments, and perform other duties related to providing a clean and safe environment for the patient and co-workers Compensation : $17 - $20 Pending skills assessment leveling Anticipated Schedule : Five 8-hour shifts Monday Friday NO WEEKENDS! About You : You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care .

You must have prior experience and proficiency in the set up of a surgery suite, preparing and sterilizing surgical packs, and must be familiar with surgical instruments.
