Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION :

Duties : Design, develop and implement software solutions. Involved in design, architecture, development and delivery of several onboarding platforms catered to JPMC clients, financial advisors, banker and middle office users to ultimately provide a seamless experience to end clients.

Work with the regional technical leads and the overall lead design authority (LDA) group to establish guidance and standards, and to evaluate and bring forward new technologies that present opportunities to improve the technology organization and business.

Assist in development of solution of high complexity, and drive architecture across the team for those solutions. Provide financial control and budget management.

Evaluate new / leading-edge technologies and methodologies, and work to identify opportunities to incorporate these into JPM’s current business and technology models.

Set the strategic direction and solve complex and mission critical problems.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum education and experience required : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
