Material Handler (1st Shift)

HOERBIGER Corporation of America, INC. is seeking a Material Handler (1st Shift : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 00pm) who is a career-minded individual looking for long-term growth and potential for our growing team.
The Material Handler works closely with Production Planning, coordinates, and manages the movement of raw, work in process and finished goods to ensure all products are manufactured according to schedule and are prepared for shipment.
The Material Handler also prepares and manages the daily, weekly, and monthly shipments of products to other HOERBIGER facilities an maintains information in the computer system.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Works with Production Planner to ensure all products are manufactured for the shipments.
- Prepares weekly shipments to other HOERBIGER facilities.
- Orders materials for product storage
- Prepare and schedule pickup of raw scrap materials.
- Load and unload materials from racks, carts, pallets, and shelves by hand.
- Load and unload materials from racks and trucks using Industrial Fork truck.
- Load and unload materials from racks using WAV Work Assist Vehicles
- Attach identification tags or labels to materials.
- Use Factory Viewer to print orders that will need pulled for production.
- Print and fill out Manufacturing Orders to be pulled.
- Pull Manufacturing Orders and place on correct shelves.
- Assist in the deburring area.
- Follow ALL safe work practices.
Requirements
- 1 or more years of Machine Material Moving experience required.
- Experience with SAP or inventory management software .
- Strong knowledge in manufacturing / warehouse environment.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer Skills
- Proficiency of English language (read, write, converse).
