Accounting Clerk
Selected candidates must pass a basic accounting aptitude test, an Excel test, and a Microsoft general skills test.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for supporting all accounting functions
- Verify invoices for approval and make check disbursements
- Remotely deposit checks and post to corresponding accounts
- Assist with processing payroll
- Typing emails, letters, memos, and other correspondence
- Performing clerical and other related work as required
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Associate degree in accounting and / or sound general accounting knowledge with equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Aptitude to communicate with and work with diverse populations / cultures
- Ability to identify problems and develop solutions
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Demonstrate ability to be proactive, diligent and reliable to meet deadlines
- Experience with accounting software products such as Quickbooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office : Outloook, Word, Excel

Monday to Friday 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., New York, NY. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Salary - 24.00 - 25.00 / hr
