Asset Manager

The Asset Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Asset Management and provides assistance in the management and disposition of data center land assets.

The Asset Manager provides industry and geographical expertise; and should be capable of report production (document production, management and final production) as well as presentation.

Essential Functions :

Supports the team in :

1. Deal Sourcing & Review : Target and evaluate new business and renewal opportunities in conjunction with portfolio-specific and general firm investment criteria.

2. Due Diligence : Undertake detailed analysis of a property’s : (A) tenants and in-place leases; (B) operating and financial statements;

C) market and competitive position; (D) engineering and environmental condition; (E) other pertinent property-level factors.

3. Review monthly reporting package and reports performance issues to Sr. Director of Asset Management.

4. Projects as required by Sr. Director and SVP Portfolio Management. Such projects may include ad-hoc portfolio legal / structuring assignments, or company-wide task team assignments.

5. Able to handle more challenging asset assignments such as large leasing challenges, property repositioning activities, and development projects

Minimum Requirements :

• Must be able to work as part of a team that includes the disciplines of acquisitions, research, asset management and marketing.
• Other required skills include effective interpersonal communication and listening skills; fluency in Microsoft Office;

ability to undertake detailed analysis and to make well-reasoned, decisive recommendations to senior management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of real estate experience required.
